Hi, I’m John — thanks for being here.
I work at the intersection of brand, product, and performance, building systems that help consumer businesses scale with clarity and momentum. My background spans premium CPG, beverage-adjacent categories, and fast-moving retail environments — with a focus on turning strong product stories into measurable commercial outcomes.
At AeroPress, I lead brand marketing and integrated growth strategy, shaping positioning, driving product launches, and strengthening performance across paid, owned, earned, retail, Amazon, and global distribution. I’ve helped modernize the 20-year brand, expanded our portfolio with multiple new products, and built the frameworks, reporting structures, and GTM engines that let teams move faster and operate with more financial insight.
Data sits at the center of how I operate. I translate syndicated and panel data, qualitative and quantitative research, and on-the-ground anecdotal signals into decisions that improve velocity, sharpen creative, and uncover the actual drivers behind consumer behavior. Whether it’s defining pricing strategy, evaluating category dynamics, or building a narrative for retail sell-in, I use data to make smarter calls and tell clearer stories.
Before AeroPress, I led brand and innovation work at Nutribullet and The Wonderful Company, launching new products, refreshing brand identities, and partnering with sales, finance, insights, and operations to drive velocity, share, and profitability. I’m drawn to brands with a point of view — especially those in better-for-you, functional, and lifestyle-driven categories — and I thrive in environments where storytelling and commercial discipline are equally important.
